Christmas Day. Hubby was working a day shift today so my son and I went there for Christmas lunch - roast pork, chicken and roast veggies with my trifle for dessert. As we had opened presents last night is was pretty low key and when we got home the son was onto his Xbox and his new games.

Left side. Left pocket is from Teresa Collins design, a wood veneer star (Studio Calico) and journalling. The right pocket is a teal chevron transparency with a 'Happy Place' teal spot from my stash.

Fun 4x6 card. In the Stamp Spot kit Michelle included a piece of balsa wood. I decided to stamp onto it - stamp is one from my stash, an older Stampin Up one. Added some alphas from Teresa Collins, coloured Rudolphs nose in red and added Glossy Accents to it. A Rudolph flair from my stash and all done.

Right side. Top right pocket is a card that came in the kit from the Stamp Spot. The writing was initially white - I embossed the writing with red Zing. The date card was also in the kit from TSS. Our Christmas Day photo of the three of us at the fire station.

Date card - this gorgeous embossed teal card is from TSS kit. I added The wood veneer number from Freckled Fawn, some twine with a tag attached with the number 14 in alphas on it. The word stickers are from Teresa Collins design Tinsel and Co collection. The day is stamped on white cardstock usin Ali Edwards stamp and black Stazon.

With Christmas Day done that also is the end of my December Daily album. I have absolutely loved doing this album this year and would like to thank Michelle from The Stamp Spot for having me as one of her Documenting December design team members. I have really enjoyed being a part of her team and following her and the other design team members along this awesome journey.

Worked night duty on Tuesday night then hubby was back to work on a day shift after his holidays. Bought the fresh raspberries (quite hard to find around here) I slept until midday then made the trifles!! Set the table for our Christmas Eve dinner, picked hubby up from work then dinner and presents.

First pages of day 24.

Left side. Pictures of bonbons and table. Card in bottom right corner is from Studio Calico PL kit.

Date card - from Teresa Collins designs. Added some gold ribbon, a Freckled Fawn number wood veneer, some wood veneer stars and stamped the day (not very well though !) with black Stazon. Stamp from Ali Edwards.

Right side - photo of our individual trifles. Teal diagonal striped card from TSS kit with a gold glitter star from one of Heidi Swapp project life kits. The bottom 4x6 cards is one of my favourites.

For this I just added gold glitter cardstock to a white dotted teal card. I hand stitched (thanks Amy Tangerine!) the Christmas tree which I drew freehand. Added a red sequin to the top of the tree. The photo is one of my son and I getting our reflection in the Christmas baubles which I had for decoration on our table. Love how cool the photo looks.

Left side I addedanother glitter star from Heidi Swapp PL kit onto a 3x4 piece of vellum with embossed gold stars along the bottom (from the Stamp Spot kit) and placed it on top of a white and teal stars card from Teresa Collins design. The reindeer transparency was from the Stamp Spot kit also and the larger 4x6 transparency from Studio Calico.

Got our Christmas photo !! Used the Timer Cam app to take this photo - after much jumping and licking by Axel I finally got this. Love this photo. Added the TOGETHER wood veneer (from a Heidi Swapp PL kit). Love how it turned out.

Today was filled with last minute shopping as hubby is back to work tomorrow and I'm working night shift tonight so not keen on tackling the food shopping by myself on Chrismas Eve with very little sleep.

After the shopping hubby and I made these Tim Tam balls !! So easy and ultra yummy. The picture has a wood veneer and chipboard star from Studio Calico.

I also started on my trifles I'm going to make for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch at the Fire Station. White chocolate ganache, marscarpone and raspberry trifle (one of Donna Hay's recipe). I'm making 6 mini ones in glasses for the three of us (two serves each!) and a huge one for Christmas Day. I made this for the first time last year and we all just adored it. So much more practical (in summer in Queensland) and delicious than plum puddings.

I printed the writing onto the photo using my own font (from Jessica Sprague website a few years ago) and added the Freckled Fawn letter wood veneers.

Date card is from Teresa Collins with a wood veneer frame. A little strip of gold star washi and enamel dots along the bottom of the frame. Teal numbers are once again coated with Glossy Accents. Day stamp from Ali Edwards stamped with black Stazon.

Quick page today with photos of hubby and son with the Instax.

One thing I am so pleased about this year is having done all the prep work prior to the start of December. I have changed things up from how the album was all laid out initially but it has been such a time saver to just flick through and pick the cards I'm wanting to use on a particular day.

Today I caught up with my Brisbane friends and their families for lunch. Fish and chips on the bay. It was well overdue and as always great fun. The kids had a great time playing in the shallows and mud.

Date card - 3x4 vellum with JOY embossed in gold (from TSS kit). I backed it with a teal and white diagonal card. Added a red Zing embossed wood veneer number from Freckled Fawn and stamped the day in black Stazon.

The other pocket has a clear transparency with white writing from Studio Calico. I just added some Freckled Fawn washi tape, a cardstock piece with the CHEERS TO FRIENDS from Ali Edwards Week in the Life kit and stapled it to the card.

I decided to use a page protector with twelve 2x2 pockets as an insert. I added photos from the day, some digital stamps from my collection from Ali Edwards, some transparencies, wood veneer stars and stickers from Teresa Collins design. Really like how it turned out.

Work Christmas party. Slept the morning after my last night shift. Met up with some work mates around the corner from home and then onto the work party. Was a great night relaxing and laughing with work mates.

Date card - a clear transparency with a wood veneer number embossed with teal Zing. Day stamped on white card with black Stazon ink. This is the other side of the stars pocket from Day 19.

This pocket card was made with washi and glitter tape from The Stamp Spot kit and from my stash. Added the alphas from Teresa Collins.

Last night shift today !! Couple of work photos - baby bottle - have used so many of these over the last few nights. Most of the babies in the nursery are premature and their mums are home so we feed them overnight with the breast milk they have left for their bubs.

Being summer the days are getting longer and the mornings are getting lighter earlier and earlier. Sunrise is now about 4.15am.

This little vellum pocket came in the kit from The Stamp Spot. Gold embossed stamp along the bottom. Adhered it to a clear transparency and popped my journalling on it.

This 4x4 card I stamped the 'December' stamp diagonally across some white cardstock. Added the Kraft tag onto which I handsewed the JOY onto it. A little strip of cork stamped with December and stapled to the card.

Date card is a sequin pocket also from the Stamp Spot. Added the teal numbers with glossy accents and the day stamp up the top.

This little pocket I left empty and just added different stars from my stash.

Quick page today. Doggy dress ups !! Axel is so good natured to sit and let me put this doggy Santa hat on him. As soon as it was over though all he wanted to do was chew the pom pom !

Nearly finished my night shifts and then I have days off until Christmas night. Jacob has kept himself busy playing on the Xbox, going to the park nearby for a kick of the footy and walking Axel everyday. Hubby has been on holidays and really has kept the house running this last week or so whilst I've been working.

I am so glad that I did all my foundation pages prior to re start of December. It has meant I just need to add photos and journalling each day. I've moved cards around from where I have originally put them but having 80% of the album done prior has saved me so much time. And at the moment I'm time poor. I'm i. The middle of 9 shifts and we are busy at work. I was exhausted when I got home this morning and slept for most of the day. Anyone who does night shift can relate to feeling less than bright and creative when they wake. Anyhow here is my Day 16. All about food !! The white chocolate and raspberry trifle is from Donna Hay and I made it last year - absolutely delicious. I will be making it again and taking to the fire station for lunch on Christmas Day (hubby is working on Christmas Day so all the families are joining the firies tree for lunch). The Tim Tam balls are ones that have been circulating on Facebook and as I love Tim Tams I thought I would give these a try.

The date card is a teal and white spot card from TSS. I added some red glitter tape and gold star washi and popped the gold Zing embossed wood veneer on top. The day stamp is from Ali Edwards in black Stazon.

This little pocket came from Michelle in TSS kit. Lovely embossing on the white card backed with a teal Bokeh card. I used Teresa Collins alphas and will be writing the recipes in there (when I get a chance).
