Today I was at work for our annual training day. The last few years they've given us markers and pipe cleaners and toys to keep our hands busy and hopefully our minds focused on the training. This year it was little Lego men - scuba diver (with a few missing parts!) for us this year.
The left photo of the reindeer is one of the Christmas decorations at work which, although they have been around for the last few weeks, today I noticed for the first time!
News of the siege with hostages at the Lindt Cafe in Martin place Sydney started filtering through after morning tea. It was all that most of us were talking about during the day. When I got home it was still unresolved. A sense of sadness and horror that this could occur here filled social media and the television. I went to bed hoping it would be resolved with no fatalities but that was not to be. Very sad for those innocent people and families involved.
Whilst I was at work Jacob had a mate over for the day - playing Xbox and going to the park. It was a beautiful sunny day here which was great to see after a gloomy and wet weekend.
The brightest bit to today was a text message from my husbands daughter with a photo (ultrasound photo) of her little baby. It is her first child and hubby's first grandchild. The baby is about 12 weeks at the moment and is due is June next year. It was lovely to see and put a big smile on our faces.
I added a 2x8 strip of a heart transparency from my stash in the pocket near the binder clips. The date card is gold foil card with a white doily and some gold and cream ribbon along the bottom. the teal numbers have glossy accents on top and placed on an oval sticker. A few teal enamel dots to complete it. The day is stamped with Stazon and is from Ali Edwards.
As it sits in my album.
Thanks for stopping by and having a look.

December Daily® is a December mini-album project initiated by Ali Edwards that documents the 25 days leading up to Christmas. The simple goal is to capture the spirit of December via one story per day.
