Week in the Life title page

I loved putting this title page together. My WITL kit didn't arrive until Wednesday, so that night I got creating. Using one of the 6x8 page protectors that came with the kit that has 2x2 pockets I added little squares to make up the title page. My favourite things to use at the moment are transparencies - coloured, patterned and plain, I love them all. Here I've used some Hambley Screen prints in black and teal, the white star one from Studio Calico and clear ones from my stash.

Both stamps are from Ali Edwards. One from the WITL kit and the "Ïmperfect and Awesome" from her Story Stamps - a themed monthly stamp subscription. I actually stamped them on the packaging that came with some of the bits of the WITL kit !

I used the 1 and the 4 to make a 14 - just slipped them into the pocket - really liked how it looked. Wood veneers are always on my pages - I coloured the 7 days to match the enamel dots. The chipboard and fabric button are from the WITL kit.

I love how it all looks together. Now to get onto putting my photos and journaling together for the rest of the project.

Thanks for looking :)

This year I'm going to do the Week in the Life by Ali Edwards. This project involves capturing a more in depth approach to documenting 'a week in your life'. This year it is running from October 27th to November 2nd.

You find out more about a WITL project by Ali here.

Katie has put together a video of all the contents of the kit this year - it can be viewed here.

I'm really looking forward to this and sharing my project in progress with you.

It's Wednesday now. Day 3 of a Week in the Life. I've worked. Two night duties and slept during the day. Managed to capture a few photos of work life.

Hi and welcome to bluepondbee. I"m a midwife; married with a teenage son and one very excitable Staffy pup. Like any true shift worker, I love to sleep and equally love a good strong coffee.
